1912 Type 34 Tourist ex Alex Connell

Period images

In 1960, Alex Connell acquired all of the sheet metal from an American Underslung.
He gradually acquired more parts, built his own parts, and after 4 years of work the car was finished.

In 1975 the car won an HCCA National Trophy for "Most Popular Open Car."

With a later repaint, the car today looks like this.  Image source Alan.

It now resides in the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum.
